Hulbert Homes, Inc. is proud to unveil their new “green” building initiative. Along with their current building practices, Hulbert will now offer their clients the choice of adding “green products” to their homes, having a “Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) green certified” home, and/or having a certified “Energy Star®” rated home. A certified FGBC green home and a certified Energy Star home must be evaluated by a third party company in order to obtain the official certification. Many homes can have “green products” in them, but are not true green homes unless they have the official third party certification.

A sample of green products that Hulbert offers include Zero Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints which provide a healthier indoor environment, low flow toilets, faucets, and showerheads, that save on water, energy efficient appliances, lighting, and Low E windows that provide energy savings.

Hulbert Homes, Inc. is an Energy Star partner, a Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) member, a PCBA Green Building Council member, and has two employees certified in A+ Professional Green Building and Sales and Marketing Green Building from the FGBC. Mark Hulbert and two employees are also certified as Green Building Professional’s by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builder’s.)
